Investment
Planning Associates, Inc. (IPA) is a registered
investment advisor under the jurisdiction of the U.
S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
IPA was founded in January 1990 for the
purpose of providing sensible, low-cost financial
planning and investment management services to
individuals and small businesses.
IPA uses no-load mutual funds as its primary
investment vehicle, supplemented with individual
blue chip stocks and bonds when appropriate. IPA’s
objective is to deliver reasonable rates of return
given each client’s risk/return objectives and
prevailing market conditions. Client references are
available upon request.

Jay
P. Levin,
CFP®
Mr.
Levin has 25 years of experience in the investment
advisory business.
Before founding IPA in January 1990, Mr.
Levin worked in New York for five years with
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Cowen & Co.
advising institutional investors.
Mr. Levin’s academic credentials include an M.B.A. in finance and investments from the
University of Texas at Austin, a B.S. in Economics
from Towson State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He
is a member of NAPFA (National Association of
Personal Financial Advisors) and the FPA (Financial
Planning Association).
Mr. Levin has also been a frequent public
speaker on his areas of expertise.

Charles
E. Donalies, CFP®
Mr. Donalies joined IPA in 2006. His academic credentials include an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. Additionally, Mr. Donalies is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
